About
Hi, Sunganani here and that beauty next to me is my wife, Aumi. A couple of things about me and this website.
First of, Sunganani, means “take care of each other” or “look after each other”. Aumi means “courageous” or “fearless one”. Now there is a balanced combination for you. Married in 2000, we have two lovely children.
We are both Christians, aka followers of Jesus Christ and that is a bias you will see on this site.
This site is a blog (web log) on marriage, family, parenting and all the things that affect it. We write from our perspective as Malawians as well as our exposure to countless non-Malawian friends who generously opened up their lives for us to share. Just like any other country on the planet, marriage in Malawi has had its shares of knocks and hits. For example, spouses hacking each others limbs off frequently. And that is stuff we see in the daily news.
What we are doing is to build a platform for discussing issues relating to marriage. Since I caught what my wife calls the “internet bug” back in May 2006, I have been on a search to build a business online. I got my fingers burnt countless number of times and suffice to say that our family has had its shares of being between rock and a hard place because of this quest. I would be foolish not to have learnt any lessons through these experiences that nearly crushed/crashed us. I have no idea what you have been through but I know that with a forum like this, I and a countless number who read this forum, will be able to learn a thing or two and make their marriages better.
Some legalese: I also share some resources that have worked for me. Some are free and some are not. Please note that you are responsible for any of the things you purchase from this blog.
