Get Wealthy or Die Trying

I know it sounds like the movie. Well, I took the title from the movie. I am talking about 7th June, 2009. Blantyre, Malawi. I was involved in a seminar called Money 101 for three days. Three days of a painfully honest and grilling but helpful look at money.

I made a commitment to earning not less than MK1,000,000 (US$7,042.25) per month by December 2009. The bad news is that I have missed that goal...twice. The good news is, I am developing the knowledge, skills and network to get myself there.

There were 15 of us in that seminar. A few weeks later, one of us made MK110,000 from thin air (he had to work for it though). We came from various places. My most overiding motivation came from the saying the facilitator said some time before that seminar: "Sunga, your poverty benefits noone, your wealth benefits a lot of people".

I have seen this guy move from being over $40,000 in debt to living debt free and comfortable within a few years. Head over to http://www.dhi.mw and see what he has. I have watched him since 1991.
